Race Intelligence
Upload any race course and Sigwren analyses every metre — terrain, gradient, conditions. Then it predicts realistic split times, finds matching training routes, and builds segment-level execution plans. Whether you're a coach planning for an athlete or a self-coached runner preparing your own race, you get the same depth of intelligence.
1. Course Analysis
Upload a GPX file and instantly see total distance, elevation profile, grade distribution, and terrain breakdowns. The system identifies natural segments — climbs, descents, flat stretches — so you can plan pacing strategy segment by segment rather than guessing a single target pace.
2. Course Planner
A full-screen map workspace where you draw segments, place checkpoints, set pace targets per segment, and classify terrain. The AI suggests segment boundaries based on grade changes and aid station locations. Accept the suggestions, adjust them, or draw your own.
3. Race Prediction
A prediction model that accounts for gradient, altitude, temperature, and your personal ability from training data. Not a generic calculator — the model calibrates to each athlete's recent efforts. For courses with historical race results, event- specific correction factors improve accuracy further.
Race demands mapped against athlete capabilities.
Full course with elevation profile and checkpoint markers.
4. Training Route Matching
The system identifies training routes near you that match the race course segments in grade, distance, and surface type. Train on equivalent terrain so you arrive at the start line having already practised the demands. Segments are tracked across races and training — the same hill climb builds history whether you encounter it in a workout or an event.
Race intelligence improves with experience. Sigwren captures terrain characteristics, pacing traps, technical sections, and environmental realities for every course — then preserves and refines them over time.
You don't need to have personally run the course. The platform's knowledge layer gives you the benefit of every athlete and coach who has gone before.
5. Post-Race Analysis
After the race, open the replay timeline. Split-by-split comparison of pace, heart rate, and power against your targets. See where you executed well and where adjustments would help next time. The debrief feeds directly back into future race planning.
Beyond the Engine
A big aerobic engine isn't enough. Durability alone isn't enough. Race outcomes are shaped by a constellation of capabilities — terrain handling, pacing discipline, fuelling execution, heat tolerance, technical proficiency, strength endurance — and they don't work in isolation. Sigwren's Capability Module lets you pinpoint each one, measure it against race demands, and compare it to the field. Then train the gaps that actually change the outcome.
Where the module was forged. Terrain load, elevation handling, night running, altitude tolerance, aid station execution — the capabilities that separate finishers from DNFs on mountain courses.
Station-by-station benchmarking across all eight Hyrox disciplines, normalised by age and gender. Identify weak stations and target them in training.
The same capability framework extends to triathlon, road running, cycling, and swimming. Trail and Hyrox were simply the most demanding proving grounds — simpler sports benefit from the same rigour.
Upload your course, see the analysis, and build a plan — whether you work with a coach or prepare independently.
